Codey Giles:
My mom joined Weigh Down in 2002, and through that, she found out about Remnant Fellowship Church. A few years later, in 2006, we joined Remnant Fellowship. I’ve grown up as a member of this Church almost my whole life as an out-of-towner from Minnesota. This allowed me to see the difference between what life was like for my friends at school compared to what it was like for my friends from the Church who had so much joy and love. I am so grateful for these friends who always point me to God, encourage me, and help me get to Heaven!

In 2020, I made the decision to move down to Tennessee to be closer to the Church and closer to my friends, so I could grow my relationship with God even more. Being closer to my church family has been such a blessing! Almost two years after moving, I had the opportunity to get to know Sari better. We had both been a part of Remnant Fellowship but had never actually met until early fall of 2021. As I got to know Sari, I fell in love with her kind spirit and especially her heart for God! She was interested in me as an individual, my thoughts and feelings, and she truly wanted to get to know me better. I asked her to be my girlfriend in November that year and the rest is history!
We have grown even closer over the past year, and it continues to get better and better. I know that God is the best matchmaker, and I would have never wanted to walk out this journey with anyone else! Sari is my everything, and I have no doubt this marriage is going to be focused on God and filled with happiness and love!

In 2015, I was blessed to have the opportunity to watch how my family’s lives were changed by being a part of this church fellowship. They did everything in love and had so much peace. I joined the church that same year, and for the past seven years, I have been free from anxiety and depression! Throughout the years of growing closer to God, I have been so filled with peace, love, and happiness! Being a part of this church has allowed me to gain strong friendships through which I am encouraged, and I am always looking for ways to imitate their love for God and those around them.
God writes the best love stories, and when He brought Codey into my life, I had no doubt that this was the man I was going to marry! I fell in love with Codey’s heart for God and his caring personality. I know with what we are taught in this church, our marriage will be blessed and focused on God and His Kingdom!- Sari
Last fall, a friend introduced me to Codey, a Remnant member who had recently moved to Tennessee from Minnesota. For years, I was praying to find a relationship with a young man who loved God with his whole heart... someone kind, patient and who had a strong relationship with God. Throughout the time of dating Codey, I have seen God surpass all of my prayers! Codey is everything I prayed for and more! He is quick to serve his family and friends and always looking for ways to help anyone in need! Likewise, he is always serving in the church ministries. Codey has a kind, gentle, and peaceful spirit—not to mention a great sense of humor. He is very Spirit-led, which helps point me back up to God. Any time I need prayers for anything or if we hear of someone requesting prayer, we stop and seek out God together.

I could not be more in love with God, and through Him, my love for Codey grows each and every day!
