Their Story...

Andrew Bailiff:

I have been attending Remnant Fellowship for about 11 months. My first exposure to Remnant Fellowship and the community here took place during Feast of Harvest 2020 when I came down to visit my family who had recently moved to Brentwood that summer. I had no intention of sticking around—I was planning to stay for a week, visit my family, and return to Indiana. However, I was impressed with the love and connection within the Church, and the positive atmosphere that has been created here. I attended some parties and gatherings and had the opportunity to connect with a lot of beautiful hearts.

Prior to visiting, I had always been a seeker, always attempting to learn more about how to further my spirituality. I grew up attending church every Sunday and Wednesday, and while that did instill strong moral values in me, going to church just wasn’t something I continued to do once I went to college. It never really resonated with me. Instead, I sought my own path, seeking alternative ways to try to find God through personal research and experiences. I remained open to other ideas, always seeking to understand other practices and teachings that people were utilizing to deepen their connection to God. So, when I came to Tennessee and began attending some of the services and talking with people in the Church, I was interested in learning more about Remnant’s beliefs and teachings. Everyone seemed so joyful and loving—and it was so natural and sincere—that I simply could not ignore it.

I am deeply grateful for Haley’s presence in my life and the inspiration that she is to me and to everyone she interacts with. I am grateful for the lessons and teachings I have been able to learn and implement through Remnant Fellowship, and for the impact that it has had, and continues to have, on developing and deepening our relationship as a couple... I thank God for Haley every single day, and I am thrilled to get to share the rest of my days with her, continuing to grow our relationship with God together.- Andrew

Then one evening, I attended a party where I met Haley Price. The moment I saw her, I was intrigued. The more I talked with Haley, the more we connected, and the more interested in her I became. We clicked from the first moment and engaged in so much great conversation that night! I was moved by her joyful spirit and positive attitude, her beautiful smile and pure heart, and the clearly evident love and connection she had with God.

On the day I was planning to leave for home, my family and I ended up running into Haley and her family at the mall. We had lunch together, got to talk a little more, and she convinced me to stick around a little longer to attend a Church wedding that weekend. I was interested in learning more about Remnant weddings because I had heard how beautiful they were, so I stayed in town. The wedding was amazing, and I was able to talk more with Haley at the reception. She invited me to a gathering with some of her friends at a restaurant, but when I showed up, she was the only one there! She was apologetic because she didn’t have my phone number to inform me of a last-minute change of plans to meet at a different location, so she had come to the restaurant to meet me there and let me know. Haley asked if I wanted to leave and go hang out with the group...but instead of doing that, I saw it as an opportunity to connect with her more, so I suggested staying where we were together. She agreed, and we sat for 3 hours or more and just talked. We shared stories and talked about our beliefs, and I very quickly started to see so much potential in pursuing a relationship with her.

As we spent more time together after that weekend, I slowly fell in love with Haley’s tender heart and the pure life she has lived and strives to continue to live. I fell in love with her deep commitment to something bigger than herself. I fell in love with her giving attitude and servant’s mentality. I fell in love with her joyful, bubbly, and optimistic outlook on life. I fell in love with her laugh, her smile, her deep blue eyes. I fell in love with every aspect of who she is, and who she wants to become.

Fast forward, I became a member of Remnant Fellowship Church, and I continue to be in awe of the teachings that led me directly to the personal relationship with God that I had searched for in the past. Haley and I have been dating for the last 11 months, and I cannot express how beautiful this relationship has been. I have learned so much from her, and I am inspired every single day to be a better man for Haley, for myself, for God, and for the world.

I am deeply grateful for Haley’s presence in my life and the inspiration that she is to me and to everyone she interacts with. I am grateful for the lessons and teachings I have been able to learn and implement through Remnant Fellowship, and for the impact that it has had, and continues to have, on developing and deepening our relationship as a couple.

I cannot wait to marry Haley and spend the rest of my life with my dream girl. I am truly undeserving of such an upright and unbelievable person. I thank God for her every single day, and I am thrilled to get to share the rest of my days with her, continuing to grow our relationship with God together.

Haley Price:

I have had the incredible honor of growing up in Remnant Fellowship since the age of 3 years old. After years and years of searching for answers, my beautiful mother, Kristin Price, discovered Weigh Down and the Remnant Fellowship Church. For the very first time, she learned the truth about how to find a personal relationship with God, and I am forever thankful. I have been incredibly blessed by putting these teachings into practice as I grew up. Although growing up in Minnesota, over 15 hours away from our Church family, I always felt so connected and loved. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to move to Nashville to be even more involved and connected in person.

When I turned 18, I moved to Nashville and had the chance to be roommates with a couple of close friends from Church while attending college at Middle Tennessee State University. It was such an incredible and convicting experience to live with other people who truly lived out, day to day, what has been taught at Remnant. It was amazing to see the incredible love that their family members had for one another and how generous, kind, humble, and fun each family unit was. I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I wanted the same foundation for my own future family one day, and that is when I really began to take my own personal relationship with God more seriously.

It has been beautiful to see Andrew’s example of seeking to live out a righteous life and it has changed me tremendously! He convicts me daily and is such a Godly leader in our relationship. We have more fun than I could have ever imagined, and I always want to be around him. He is the most thoughtful person I have ever met; he always goes above and beyond to take care of me, and we are laughing non-stop when we are together.- Haley

A strong desire of my heart was always to find a Godly husband. I watched several best friends get engaged and married, and I often felt like there was no one out there for me. After months of feeling down about it, I decided to make God my best friend, spend more time helping others, develop deeper friendships and relationships with my family, and ultimately spend much less time thinking about myself. When I switched up my focus, it worked wonders—and the blessings have been pouring in ever since! Almost immediately, I was introduced to the most amazing man I have ever had the honor of knowing.

The moment I saw Andrew Bailiff, my heart leapt. Not only was he incredibly handsome, but as we talked together, I immediately began to admire how humble he was, and I noticed how he treated his mother with such love and respect. Then we ended up bumping into each other at the mall the day before he planned to leave. We had lunch together that day, and I invited him to join us for a Remnant wedding the next day… and he said yes! In fact, he extended his temporary stay to another week, and then another, and then another. Soon he was coming to Church for each service, and I quickly began to fall in love with his heart and his desire to fall more in love with God and make changes for the better in his own life.

I am so thankful and cannot wait to spend forever with the love of my life! It has truly felt like a fairy-tale from the very beginning. I am immensely grateful for Remnant Fellowship because I know I would not be the same person without this personal relationship with God. I do not deserve to marry such an amazing man. I am so very excited for what’s to come and cannot wait to be married to my very best friend!!
